Guizhou Province uses big data to improve the elevator rescue ability

The other day the reporter learned from Guizhou Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision that Guizhou Bureau of Quality has used the “Internet + management” and “Internet + services” modes to construct the “elevator emergency rescue and disposal service platform of Guizhou Province” to  improve the ability to rescue passengers trapped in the elevator.


Guizhou is one of the first pilot provinces approved by  General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China to carry out the elevator emergency rescue and disposal services as well as the first province to carry out the rescue of passengers trapped in the elevator all over the province.


After the “elevator emergency rescue and disposal service platform of Guizhou Province” is used, in case passengers are trapped in the elevator, they can call the 24-hour service phone 12365 shown on the notice board posted on the elevator wall and report the “ID number” of faulty elevator, namely, the 6-digit elevator number, the command center will immediately identify the specific location of the faulty elevator and dispatch and command the elevator maintenance unit, grid maintenance unit, public security department and fire department to carry out the three-level emergency rescue.


Through this platform, the regulatory authorities focus on the commanding, dispatching and management of the rescue and disposal of passengers trapped in the elevator and focus on solving the problems of information symmetry and  regulation forwarding to improve the public security management ability.


By March 9, this rescue system has been used for the rescue and disposal of passengers trapped in 30.1% elevators in use all over the province and a total of 1,647 passengers trapped in the elevators in 640 cases have been rescued within an average rescue time of 12.3 minutes.
